The recruitment examination of Bihar Police Driver Constable Cadre conducted by Bihar Central Selection Board (Constable Recruitment) was held on Wednesday in a single shift at 27 examination centers in the district. Dozens of candidates who came late to the examination centers were turned back. At many centres, candidates who came to take the exam without ID were turned back.
Entry was allowed after bringing ID. The reporting time of the candidates was 9.30. The candidates were given admission after strict search. Apart from the admit card and ID, nothing was allowed to be taken inside. The candidate also kept his pen along with him at the gate. Because along with question paper, OMR, pen was also given in the examination hall.
Carrying a pen was not allowed by the Commission. The examination was conducted from 12 noon to 2 pm. Strict security arrangements were made by the district administration, due to which the examination was conducted in a peaceful, transparent and malpractice-free environment. A total of 15,051 candidates appeared in this examination.
GK questions are quite difficult
Many candidates who appeared for the exam in Muzaffarpur told that this time the question paper was based on the new pattern and the questions were relatively difficult. According to the candidates, questions from mathematics, current events and history kept the candidates confused. The candidates took a lot of time to answer these questions. Suman Kumar, a candidate who came to appear for the exam from Basti, Uttar Pradesh, said that he has come to Bihar to appear for the exam for the first time. According to him the exam went well.
However, as the questions were difficult, it took more time. Disappointment was also seen on the faces of many candidates while coming out of the examination centres. Many candidates appearing for the exam from Mukherjee Seminary Center said that the question was very difficult. Could answer only 60 to 70 percent of the questions. Their preparation was affected due to more questions from Geography, Science and other subjects.
City SP inspected constable recruitment examination centers
To ensure successful, fair and malpractice-free conduct of the Driver Constable Recruitment Examination conducted by the Central Selection Board, Patna, tight security arrangements were made by Muzaffarpur Police at all the centres.
It was being continuously monitored by police officials. During this time, City Superintendent of Police Kota Kiran Kumar conducted a surprise inspection of various examination centres. After this, necessary guidelines were given to the concerned officials to maintain law and order, ensure safety of the candidates and transparency of the examination.
