Samvad Sutra, Dhalbhumgarh (East Singhbhum). A mason died tragically in a road accident that took place on Wednesday near Bitjhariya village under Dhalbhumgarh police station area. He was a resident of Jodshol village. He was identified as Pandey Munda alias Mangal Munda.

Eight other people were injured in this incident. In which the right leg of Banghutu resident Salkhan Kisku (25) was broken, while his wife Sita Kisku suffered injuries on her head, face and other parts. The other injured include 18-year-old Budhi Murmu, resident of Khadgabeda under Shyamsunderpur police station area, Suraj Sardar, resident of Hadian under Gudabanda police station area, his wife Shukramani Sardar, 9-year-old daughter Sonali Sardar, 5-year-old son Lakhindra Sardar and 1-year-old daughter Keanu Sardar, besides three other people.

Small children suffered minor injuries but all survived safely. As soon as the information about the incident was received, local people and Naushad Ahmed and his members of Seva Hi Dharma took Narsinghgarh PHC to provide first aid to all the injured. With the help of local police, all eight injured were referred to MGM. The two injured were released after first aid.

The driver of the pickup van was in an intoxicated state

Salkhan Kisku, a mason riding in a pickup van, said that 11 people, including eight laborers, were traveling in a pickup van loaded with cement to Panduguda village, 13 kilometers away from Mohlishol, for the casting work of a government well.

The driver of the pickup van was drunk and driving. Due to which the car overturned while descending the slope and became victim of an accident. Cement and sand were also loaded in the pickup pan. The relatives are in bad condition, crying. All the people were working under local vendor Pankaj Jha. Dhalbhumgarh police station in-charge Dheeraj Kumar said that appropriate compensation will be provided to the family of the deceased. Appropriate legal action will also be taken.
