State Bureau, Patna. The banquet organized by BJP National Working President Nitin Naveen on the occasion of Makar Sankranti was not only a socio-cultural event, but it also had deep political implications.

Top leaders of almost all the major constituent parties of Bihar NDA participated in the Sankranti Milan ceremony organized in Patna. The presence of leaders of JDU, LJP (RA), HAM, RLMO and other allies made it a program giving a strong political message. Under the pretext of banquet, a glimpse of unity and coordination of NDA was clearly visible.

A grand celebration of traditional Dahi-Chuda and Khinchadi feast was organised. A large number of BJP leaders, officials, workers, along with Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Deputy Chief Ministers Samrat Choudhary and Vijay Sinha, Legislative Council Chairman Awadhesh Narayan Singh, Water Resources Minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary, Minister Leshi Singh and other ministers and MPs participated in the program. BJP National Working President congratulated Makar Sankranti.

Said that Dahi-Chuda feast is a special tradition of Bihar, which gives the message of simplicity, equality and mutual brotherhood. BJP has always been committed to the preservation and promotion of Indian culture, traditions and festivals. This festival of Makar Sankranti inspires us to move forward with hard work, positivity and new determination. This festival of Sun's Uttarayan indicates new energy and new direction in life.

He wished that this festival brings happiness, prosperity, health and success in everyone's life. Naveen called upon the party workers to work with full dedication to extend the benefits of the government's public welfare schemes to the last person in the society. During the Dahi-Chuda feast held by the leaders in the mild sunshine, all the guests enjoyed traditional dishes and wished each other for the festival.

BJP state president Sanjay Sarvagi, JDU state Umesh Kushwaha, LJP (RA) state president Raju Tiwari, HAM national president and Minor Water Resources Minister Santosh Suman, RLMO national president Upendra Kushwaha, Union Minister Nityanand Rai participated in the meeting.
