On the highway from Kanpur to Lucknow, there were queues of vehicles about four kilometers long from Old Gangapul to Tribhuvankheda till around 5 pm. Pedestrians had to struggle with the traffic jam for four hours. All vehicles, big and small, remained stuck in the jam. At the same time, the convoy of SP National President Akhilesh Yadav arrived. Which got stuck in traffic for some time. The convoy was going to Kanpur. During this time, a crowd of his workers gathered to see and greet Akhilesh.
He told that the bus which broke down on the bridge was pushed and moved from Ganga bridge towards Kanpur. After that the vehicle could pass. There was a queue of vehicles till around 5 pm till Tribhuvankheda. The vehicle could crawl out. Due to the jam, commuters were delayed for hours in reaching their destination.
