Entertainment Desk, New Delhi. Sunny Leone and Rahul Bhatt will be seen in lead roles in Anurag Kashyap's film 'Kennedy'. The film is scheduled to release on February 20 on Zee5. Before the premiere, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) made several changes to the film and then passed it with an 'A' certificate.
Changes have to be made at these places
According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, the abuse has been muted from the dialogue and subtitles. Apart from this, the word 'Donald Trump' has been changed to 'Pump Trump', while Dawood Ibrahim's scene and dialogue 'Dawood Ibrahim ne... 1993 mein' has been removed and replaced with 'Pakistan Don'.

Apart from this, a 14 second scene 'Matunga, Matunga...Pungi Bajao' has been removed. Filmmakers have also been asked to add anti-smoking warnings in all smoking scenes. Following these changes, Kennedy received a censor certificate on November 23, 2023. The duration of the film is 148 minutes and 54 seconds (2 hours, 28 minutes, 54 seconds).
What is Kennedy's story?
Kennedy is a powerful crime drama written and directed by Anurag Kashyap. In the film, Rahul Bhatt plays the character of Uday Shetty, a former police officer who was presumed dead and is now living under the assumed name of Kennedy. He is secretly working as a hitman for the corrupt police system of Mumbai. His life takes a turn when he meets Sunny Leone's character Charlie. This mysterious woman deepens his internal conflict and entangles him further in the quagmire of moral darkness.
Kennedy had its international premiere at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival. The film was also screened at the Sydney Film Festival, after which it was also screened at the Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival.
