Jagran correspondent, Tupudana. Three youths, who had gone on holiday to the Chennai coast on Sunday, went into deep water while bathing in the sea. The body of one of them has been recovered, while two youths are still missing.
According to information received from family members, all three students were selected for naval training at the Academy of Maritime Education and Training (AMET), Chennai. The three friends had gone to the Chennai beach to celebrate their Sunday holiday from the Naval Training Center.
While roaming in the beach of Chennai, all three planned to take a bath in the sea. The three friends went into deep water to take a bath in the sea. Suddenly, strong waves engulfed all three and took them into deep water.
People bathing and roaming in the beach of Chennai saw the three drowning and informed the local police about the matter. Police reached the spot and tried to rescue all three with the help of divers, but were able to rescue only one youth, who has been identified as Mukesh, a resident of Tamil Nadu.
The body was recovered and handed over to the family. At the same time, 20-year-old Ritesh Prajapati, resident of Tupudana, Ranchi, and Naval, resident of Mumbai, have not been found yet. However, various teams including Chennai Police and divers are trying to find both the youth in the deep waters of the sea.
Till now the police has not been successful in locating both of them in the sea. At the same time, the family members of Ranchi resident Ritesh Prajapati received information from the Merchant Navy that Ritesh has drowned in the sea off Chennai, after receiving the information the family left for Chennai.
Ritesh was promising in studies
Ritesh Prajapati was very bright in studies and always stood first in his class. He completed his schooling in 10th class from Bridgeford School and 12th class from Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir. The family and local people are deeply shocked by this incident.
Merchant Navy was the first choice
Ritesh was a bright student with keen intellect. After 12th, he got job offers from many institutions, but Ritesh wanted to join the Merchant Navy only and he got selected in the Merchant Navy. He went to Chennai from Tupudana for training and during the training period he met his end.
Father is an auto driver
Ritesh Prajapati's childhood was spent in poverty, but his father Kailash Prajapati, who drove an auto, did not let his two sons suffer from any lack of education and educated both of them in a prestigious school. Elder son Roshan Prajapati is a very skilled software mechanic and mobile mechanic.
At the same time, Ritesh also kept trying for a job along with studies, he got offers from many places. But his choice was to join the Merchant Navy. Father Kailash Prajapati got both his sons higher education by driving an auto.
At the same time, to ensure that there was no shortage of education, Ritesh's mother used to meet the expenses of his education by running a footwear shop.
