Entertainment Desk, New Delhi. Mahhi Vij and Jay Bhanushali have now separated. Rumors of their separation were flying for a long time. However, both of them maintained silence. However, on January 4, 2026, the actor confirmed his separation through a statement.
Even though Jai and Mahhi Vij have separated, they will be raising their three children Tara, Khushi and Rajveer together. Mahi has decided not to take alimony or even maintenance from Jai.
Why did Mahi and Jai get divorced?
According to legal sources, Mahhi Vij has refused to take any alimony or maintenance money from her ex-husband Jay Bhanushali. Both of them tried hard to save their relationship but finally decided to separate with mutual consent. Things were not going well between the two for a long time. They tried to save the marriage but when the differences did not resolve, they both decided to end their relationship amicably.

Mahi Vij will not take alimony
According to the source, after separation, Mahhi Vij did not take any alimony or maintenance from Jay Bhanushali for her children Tara, Khushi and Rajveer. It is being told that this decision was taken with mutual consent, in which both of them decided to close this chapter without any financial obligation or dispute. Despite separating as a couple, Jai and Mahhi will fulfill their parental responsibilities and raise their three children together.
Jai and Mahi became parents five years ago
Mahi and Jai got married on 9 February 2011. Both were one of the most favorite couples of TV. Both of them welcomed a daughter named Tara in the year 2019. At the same time, Jai and Mahi have also adopted a son and daughter named Khushi and Rajveer.
