Jagran correspondent, Dehradun. Uttarakhand Police has arrested four accused, including a history-sheeter, in the case of obstruction, assault and vandalism in government work in the Directorate of Elementary Education.

According to SSP Parmendra Dobal, on February 21, a dispute broke out during talks with MLA Umesh Sharma Kau and others at the Director Elementary Education office in Nanurkheda. During this time, some persons vandalized the office by throwing chairs and other items, due to which some employees got injured.

On the complaint of the Director, a case was registered under various sections including obstruction in the work of a public servant, rioting, property damage and intimidation. On the basis of video footage and evidence, the police have arrested four accused and started further action.
