Jagran correspondent, Agra. Under the Graded Response Action Plan implemented in the city, action is being taken by the Municipal Corporation Administration to control air pollution. In this sequence, pollution was being caused by burning coal furnace by Mutton 199. A total fine of Rs 12 thousand has been imposed on Hotel Maya for spreading filth.
In the investigation conducted by the Municipal Corporation team on Friday, a coal furnace was found burning for roasting mutton in Mutton 199 restaurant. Burning of coal is completely prohibited. Even after this, if air pollution was confirmed, a fine of Rs 10,000 was imposed against the restaurant.
At the same time, action was taken against spreading filth and violation of cleanliness rules around the Maya Hotel premises located in Purani Mandi. During the inspection, a fine of Rs 2,000 was imposed for the hotel not disposing of the garbage properly and dirt being found in a public place. Municipal Commissioner Ankit Khandelwal has said that controlling air pollution under GRAP is the priority of the Municipal Corporation. And action was taken against those who spread filth.
