Digital Desk, Patna. An important change was seen in the politics of Bihar on Tuesday. Nitin Nabin resigned from the Bihar cabinet on Tuesday after being made the working president of BJP. Soon after this, major departments were divided on the instructions of CM Nitish Kumar. This happened so that the administrative work of the state is not affected.
In this reshuffle, the role of Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha and Industries Minister Dilip Jaiswal has become stronger. Vijay Kumar Sinha has been given additional charge of Urban Development and Housing Department.
This department is associated with urban infrastructure, sanitation, drinking water, smart city and civic amenities. Presently Vijay Kumar Sinha is also handling the revenue, land reforms and mining departments. The government hopes that under his leadership the urban development plans will get new momentum.
Minister Dilip Jaiswal is responsible for the road construction department.
Whereas Industries Minister Dilip Jaiswal has been given the responsibility of Road Construction Department. This department is considered the backbone of the state's infrastructure. The main challenge for Jaiswal will now be to complete the road projects started during the tenure of Nitin Nabin on time.
It is noteworthy that Nitin Nabin has resigned from the cabinet under the principle of 'one person, one post' of BJP. He has recently become the National Working President of BJP.
