The team of Darbhanga district has been selected for the junior state level volleyball competition to be held from December 8 to 10 at Mokama Marwari High School campus. The selection process was conducted through trials at the Dr. Nagendra Jha Stadium located on the LNMIV campus.
12-12 players were selected from boys and girls category
During the trials, 12 talented players each were selected for both boys and girls categories. Under the supervision of the District Volleyball Association, the players were selected after evaluating their fitness, technique and sports skills.

Team managers have also been decided for both the categories. District Volleyball Association Secretary Brajesh Singh Rathore said that Vivek Kumar Singh has been appointed as the team manager for the boys' category and Mihir Jha for the girls' category.
Arpita, Phool Kumari, Mahi Kumari, Jyoti Kumari, Sonali Kumari, Pinky Kumari, Babli Kumari, Sandhya Kumari, Sadhna Kumari, Shweta Kumari, Radhika Kumari and Juhi Kumari have got place in the girls team. All the players were selected on the basis of their performance and team coordination ability.

In the boys category, Anshu Singh, Krishna Singh, Vineet Kumar Jha, Rudra Kumar, Satyam, Chandramohan Thakur, Himanshu Mishra, Manish Kumar Mishra, Aniket Kumar, Sujit Kumar Jha, Sachin Kumar, Abhinav Kumar Thakur and Niket Kumar have been selected. These players performed well in the trials.

During the trial competition, many officials including District Volleyball Association Vice President Amarnath Singh, Kamini Kumari, Joint Secretary Baijnath Sahu, Amit Abhishek and Sharad Kumar Singh were present. Everyone encouraged the players and wished them all the best for their strong performance in the state level competition. There is a lot of enthusiasm among the players regarding the organization of the competition.
