Cyclist dies tragically after being hit by dumper. file photo
Jagran correspondent, Faridabad. A cyclist was crushed by a dumper on the Gurugram canal bridge. Subhash Sharma, a resident of Bhudutt Colony, was going for duty on a bicycle in a factory in Sector-6 on Saturday morning.
A dumper came at a high speed on the bridge of Sector-3 Gurugram canal and hit his bicycle. Due to this, Subhash Sharma fell on the road along with his bicycle and was crushed by the dumper. Due to which he died on the spot. The driver left the dumper and ran away.
Case registered against unknown driver
After receiving information about the accident, Chawla Colony outpost police reached the spot. Police have registered a case against the unknown driver on charges of negligent driving and have kept the deceased in the mortuary of Badshah Khan Hospital for post-mortem. Post mortem will be done during the day.
