Digital Desk, New Delhi. On Tuesday, an earthquake of 5.9 magnitude occurred in Myanmar, whose strong tremors were also felt in Kolkata and many parts of Bangladesh.
The German Research Center for Geosciences (GFZ) confirmed this. The GFZ reported that the earthquake was at a depth of 10 km (6.21 mi).
