Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in the State Debt Seminar and release program of State Focus Paper 2026-27
In the program of State Loan Seminar and release of State Focus Paper 2026-27, State Bureau, Jagran, Lucknow: Yogi Adityanath government has taken a big step forward in increasing facilities to the farmers. Now farmers will get loan from e-KCC in just five minutes.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday inaugurated the State Loan Seminar of NABARD and released the State Focus Paper. In this program organized at Lok Bhavan, he said that farmers have got relief from digital governance. With this, the economy of the state has been strengthened by FPOs, cooperatives and MSMEs.
He appealed to the banks to simplify the loan conditions for the farmers. The Chief Minister said that the agricultural loan of the state is currently Rs 3 lakh crore, which has increased by 13 percent as compared to earlier. We have to move more strongly in this direction.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that digital governance has changed the picture of loan approval in Uttar Pradesh. When the Annadata farmer earlier went to take loan through Kisan Credit Card (KCC), he had to wait from 25 days to one month, but today the same farmer is getting the loan facility through e-KCC in just five minutes.
He said that today the government and Annadata farmers are together thinking about how to use Artificial Intelligence (AI) in farming. With the inspiration of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, AI agriculture platform has been announced in the Union Budget and Uttar Pradesh is moving fast in this direction. On this occasion, the Chief Minister also honored many FPOs (Farmer Producer Organization) on the stage.
CM Yogi Adityanath said that UP is the first state in the country which is working with the World Bank in the field of Agri Tech. Before 2017, the cooperative sector was under mafia rule. RBI had declared 16 district cooperative banks as defaulters. Today, under our government, 15 of these banks have become profitable. The 16th is also being brought into profit.
Banks should simplify loan disbursement conditions
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath appealed to the bankers to simplify the conditions in loan distribution as much as possible and support farmers, FPOs, MSMEs and people associated with cooperatives with a positive attitude. Just making policy is not enough, its impact should be visible on the ground. For this, it is necessary to give targeted training by forming small groups, prepare master trainers and send them directly among those who want to move forward through the She-Mart model or cooperative institutions proposed for FPO, MSME, service sector, Lakhpati Didi.
The Chief Minister said that if banks, NABARD and other financial institutions take training and credit together, then the pace of employment, income and self-reliance in the state can increase manifold. Uttar Pradesh is realizing its unlimited potential through technology, training and value addition and these efforts will take the state to new heights.
Disabled and women led FPO role models
The Chief Minister said that the models presented in the seminar are an inspiration for the entire state. Kasya Milk Producer FPO, run by Divyangjan, with 1,005 members, is a living example of this. In areas like Eastern Uttar Pradesh, which were earlier considered weak, people with disabilities have set a new example with their hard work and ability. This is an eye-opening work and for this they all deserve congratulations. Referring to the mustard production company of Mathura with 750 women, the Chief Minister said that I myself have seen their exhibition. How women earned better profits by linking mustard oil with processing is a lesson for the entire state. The government will support such efforts at every level.
CM Yogi Adityanath said that today the cooperative sector is also changing. Under the vision of ‘Sahkar Se Samriddhi’, digitization, e-governance and transparent policies have ensured good governance and accountability in cooperative institutions. Uttar Pradesh is the first state in the country, which is working with the World Bank in the field of Agri-Tech. Agriculture, MSME, women, agri-tech and youth entrepreneurship are the priorities of the government today.
On this occasion, State Government Finance and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Suresh Kumar Khanna, Agriculture Minister Surya Pratap Shahi, NABARD General Manager Pankaj Kumar and Reserve Bank Regional General Manager Pankaj Kumar were present.
