Jharkhand Assistant Teacher. (Awakening)
State Bureau, Ranchi. It will be mandatory for recently appointed assistant teachers in primary and upper primary schools of the state to undergo training in Artificial Intelligence (AI), cyber security, computers including Windows and other emerging technologies.
A total of nine such areas have been identified in which pre-induction training will be given to them. The Personnel Department has prepared the IGOT portal in this regard, through which this training will be given to assistant teachers.
The School Education and Literacy Department issued an order regarding this on Thursday and has instructed all the District Education Superintendents to take necessary action in this regard.
All the District Education Superintendents have been asked to coordinate with the concerned Nodal Officer of the Personnel Department and ensure that the data of all the newly appointed assistant teachers of their respective districts is onboarded on the IGOT portal by 15th February.
After this, it will be disseminated among the assistant teachers by Jharkhand Education Project Council. It will be mandatory for all assistant professors to complete online training through the said portal from 20th February to 10th March.
The Personnel Department has made its Deputy Secretary Anup Kumar the nodal officer for the training of teachers and other personnel of the School Education and Literacy Department.
Certificate of completion of training will have to be uploaded on e-VidyaVahini portal
After the training, all the assistant teachers will have to upload the certificate on the e-VidyaVahini portal that they have completed the training. For this, the deadline has been fixed till March 15. The Council has been asked to make necessary amendments in the portal regarding this.
The department will also take an assessment test after the training.
After the training of assistant teachers, the School Education and Literacy Department will also conduct an assessment test in future. This has also been mentioned in the order issued by the Education Secretary.
