Jagran correspondent, Fatehgarh Sahib. A separatist organization named Khalistan Zindabad Force has posted the responsibility of the rail blast in Sirhind on the internet media. A letter typed in Gurmukhi has been posted on a letter head, challenging the central government to take responsibility for the blast.
Below the letter, the name Ranjit Singh Jammu is written and there is also a signature. Ranjit Singh, originally from Jammu, started this separatist organization with the help of ISI. He was declared a wanted terrorist in 2008. According to security agencies, Ranjit Singh has been taking refuge in Pakistan for a long time.

Let us tell you that there was a big explosion late night on the railway line in Sirhind area. The blast took place on the freight corridor railway line, four kilometers away from Fatehgarh Sahib-Sarhad railway station. The incident occurred at around 11 pm when a goods train was passing through the Front Corridor rail line.
According to the information, this new railway line has been specially built for the operation of goods trains. As soon as the engine of the goods train reached near Khanpur gates, suddenly there was a huge explosion. Due to the blast, about 12 feet of the railway line was completely blown away.
