Another registration office will be opened in the district. Under-registrar office will open in Jhapahan of Bochahan zone. Here all the land of Bochahan and 131 out of 155 acres of land in Meenapur area will be registered.
Presently the land registry here is done in the District Registration Office, Muzaffarpur. Its preparations have intensified after District Collector and District Registration Officer Subrata Kumar Sen sent the proposal to the Prohibition, Excise and Registration Department.
Search is on for office space in Jhapahan. Apart from this, the facility of getting land registration done in the District Registration Office, Muzaffarpur itself will be available to the people of 38 villages of Kanti and Madvan region in the new year. Registration of the remaining shares will be done in the Under Registration Office, Motipur as before.
In this regard also the Collector has sent a proposal to the Prohibition, Excise and Registration Department. After this, the search for office space in Jhaphaan has intensified. After the approval of the department, the land registry will be done in the new office.
It may be noted that a proposal was sought from the department regarding three new registration offices in the district. After considering this, the Collector has sent a proposal to open a registration office in Jhaphan of Bochahan area.

According to the proposal, land registry of all the mouzas of Bochahan will be done in Jhapahan Under Registrar Office. Apart from this, people of 131 villages of Meenapur will also be able to get their land registered in this office. This will reduce the distance significantly for the people here. Apart from this, it will also take less time.
Besides this, new sources of employment will also be developed in the area. The land registry of 24 Mauzas of Meenapur zone, which are located in the south-west direction from Budhi Gandak, will be in the Under Registration Office, Motipur.
People of Kanti and Madvan also benefit
In the new proposal, provisions have also been made for the people of Kanti and Madvan areas to save time and money. The registration of land measuring 14 mouzas of Madvan and 24 mouzas of Kanti will be done in the District Registration Office, Muzaffarpur. The remaining registration will be done in the Under Registration Office, Motipur as before.
