Entertainment Desk, New Delhi. Bollywood actor-filmmaker Kunal Khemu starrer family comedy series 'Single Papa' has been renewed for season 2. Series executive producer Shashank Khaitan said that Single Papa was always conceived as a long, family-centric story that could grow with its characters.

Khaitan said in a statement, 'Seeing the audience connect so deeply with Baby Amul, Gaurav and the Gehlot family has further strengthened our belief that their story was not going to end with just one chapter. Our partnership with Netflix has been vital in creating this world with honesty and heart. The Gehlot family's journey is far from over, and Season 2 gives us an opportunity to show their relationships, challenges and joys with even more depth and warmth.

What is the story of the series?
The show also stars Prajakta Koli, Manoj Pahwa, Ayesha Raza, Neha Dhupia, Suhail Nayyar, Dayanand Shetty, Ayesha Ahmed, Dhruv Rathee and Isha Talwar. This series revolves around a boy named Gaurav Gehlot who wants to become a father and meanwhile one day someone leaves a child in his car. Her sudden decision to adopt a child so soon after her divorce shocks her family so much that they start thinking about rebooting it for a while. What follows is a commotion like never before, as the Gehlot family tries to understand how a man who still keeps his socks lying around can raise a complete human being.
When will 'Single Papa 2' be released?
Created and co-produced by Ishita Moitra and Neeraj Udhwani, with Shashank Khaitan executive producing, and Hitesh Kewalya also directing along with Neeraj Udhwani, the series is produced by Aditya Pitti and Samar Khan under the Juggernaut Productions banner. 'Single Papa Season 2' will stream on Netflix. However, the release date has not been announced yet.
