Speeding BMW Crushes Policemen In Dehradun, 3 People Including Outpost In-charge Injured

According to the information, at around 12:45 on Saturday night, the police force under the leadership of Inspector Pradeep Kumar Rana, in-charge of Doiwala Kotwali, was checking by placing barricades on the highway. When he tried to stop a black BMW car coming speeding from Haridwar, it hit the barricade, injuring the policemen present there.

When an attempt was made to catch him, he took the car back and again tried to ram it into the police personnel. But by then the police personnel had caught him. This incident created chaos on the spot. Apart from the police personnel getting injured in this collision, four other vehicles parked at the spot were also damaged.

Kotwali in-charge inspector Pradeep Kumar Rana said that Harrawala outpost incharge Raghuveer Kapruwan, Laltappad outpost ASI Manoj Kumar and constable Gulshan were injured in the incident. Who are being treated in Himalayan Hospital.

The outpost incharge also suffered a fracture in his leg. He told that the accused has been caught, who was drunk. The accused has been identified as Tarun, resident of Raja Ka Tajpur, police station Chauhara, district Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh.
