Jagran correspondent, Sirsa. Two youths died in road accidents at different places in the district. In both the cases, relatives have accused unknown drivers of rash and negligent driving. Police have started action on the basis of the statement.
The first incident took place on Shekhupuria Road in Panjuana village of Badagudha area on Wednesday evening at around 6.30 pm. Village resident Dalip Kumar told in his statement to the police that he was standing on Shekhupuria Road to manage the farm. At the same time, a truck driver hit the motorcyclist on the side and the truck took away the bike and the driver.
The condition of the motorcyclist became critical on the spot in the accident. When he went closer, he saw that it was his 18-year-old son Himesh, who was 12th pass and worked at a mobile shop in Raniya. Relatives and villagers took him to the government hospital Sirsa, where the doctors declared him dead after examination. The relatives have demanded legal action against the unknown truck driver.
At the same time, the second incident also took place at around 9 pm on Wednesday night, in front of Dhani Kartar Singh, about 500 meters before Naka Musahibwala. Baljit Singh, a resident of village Musahibwala, told that his 39-year-old brother Pappu, who used to work as a puller in the grain market Sirsa, was returning from Bhambhoor village to his village Musahibwala on a motorcycle.
Meanwhile, an unknown vehicle coming from the front and driving at high speed and carelessly hit his motorcycle directly. Pappu suffered serious injuries in the accident and died on the spot. Later he was taken to Government Hospital Sirsa, where doctors declared him dead.
The motorcycle was also badly damaged in the accident. In both the cases, the police have started searching for the unknown drivers and based on the statement of the relatives, have started further action by handing over the bodies after post-mortem on Thursday.
