The road will be temporarily closed due to the laying of tertiary treated water pipeline.
Jagran correspondent, Chandigarh. Vehicular movement will remain closed on Vikas Marg for the next two days i.e. Saturday and Sunday. Traffic will be diverted. This step is being taken for the convenience of the people, as a pipeline is to be laid to supply tertiary treated (TT) water.
Due to the work of laying the pipeline, the dividing road of Sector-52/53 and Sector-53/54 on Vikas Marg will be temporarily closed. This road will be closed for traffic from 10 am on February 7 to 10 pm on February 8.
During this time, drivers passing through the concerned area will have to use alternative routes. The Municipal Corporation and the police administration have appealed to the general public to adopt alternative routes during the stipulated period and cooperate in strengthening the infrastructure of the city.
