Address proof will have to be uploaded
To update address in passport, you have to upload valid address proof. For this you can give documents like Aadhar Card, Voter ID Card, Electricity, Water or Water Bill, Bank Passbook or Statement, Registered Rent Agreement. Keep in mind that this supporting document should contain the same address you are providing for the passport. After this you have to pay the fees.
Appointment and Verification Process
After filling the online form and paying the fees, book an appointment at the Passport Seva Kendra office. Take the original documents and photocopy with you on the day of appointment. Here basic information is verified.
