Communication Assistant, Chausa (Buxar). On the auspicious occasion of Vasant Panchami, a grand traditional Virat Dangal competition was organized on Friday in Narbatpur of the city under the auspices of Mahaviri Puja Committee.
In this dangal, famous wrestlers from different districts of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh displayed their tricks and wrestling skills brilliantly. In this event held in the presence of thousands of spectators, the dominance of the wrestlers of Chausa was clearly visible. In the dangal, wrestlers Pintu and Arman of Chausa won a lot of applause by defeating their rivals in the arena and won prizes worth thousands of rupees.

The most expensive and popular wrestling of the competition was in the name of Pintu wrestler of Chausa. There was a wrestling match with a prize of Rs 10,000 between Pintu and Sanjay Pehalwan, who came from Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, in which Pintu defeated Sanjay with brilliant tricks and received applause from the audience. In this huge riot, wrestlers from far-flung villages including Azamgarh, Mau, Banaras, Chandauli, Mughalsarai, BMP Patna, Danapur, Kaimur and Ghazipur had also reached.
In the arena, the wrestlers mesmerized the audience with their amazing display of strength, agility and wrestling skills. The enthusiasm of the audience increased with every match and the entire atmosphere was filled with excitement. The role of referee in the competition was played by Shri Bhagwan Pehalwan of the Army very well. Deenbandhu Singh, Sanjay Sadhu, Satish Yadav and other members of Mahaviri Puja Committee played an important role in making the event successful. A large number of spectators from rural areas were present to watch the Dangal competition and remained connected to the Akhara till the end.
