Patients will avail the benefits of hi-tech health facilities in Ghaziabad in the new year 2026.
Jagran correspondent, Ghaziabad. A 100-bed critical care block is being built in District MMG Hospital in Ghaziabad. It is expected to be built by March 2026. This will also provide ICU facility. Serious patients will benefit from this. Currently, serious patients are referred to GTB Hospital or Meerut. Apart from this, the construction work of 200 bed TB hospital has started.
Modular OTs will be built in four joint hospitals, two women's hospitals, Muradnagar CHC and Loni joint hospital in the year 2026. Patients in Gautam Buddha Nagar will get hi-tech health services in the new year. The managers of the Health Department, ESIC Hospital and Child PGI have planned to appoint specialists and senior doctors as well as start testing facilities.
The first AI clinic is going to open in JIMS. Ultrasound will also be done on patients using advanced technology using color Doppler machine in the district hospital. A new building will be constructed for the students of ESIC Medical College.
The district hospital management is preparing to start surgery for ruptured eardrum with a microscope machine. Dental and Biochemistry departments will be shifted to the new tower in Child PGI. There are also preparations to start a cathlab here. Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak gifted Digital X-ray and Additional City Scan Lab at JIMS. Not only this, the government gave permission to JIMS to open eight super specialty, robotic surgery and cardiology departments.
On the other hand, the Health Department in Hapur has prepared to provide two new facilities to the people in the new year. A proposal for these has been made and sent to the government. The Health Ministry has also approved both these proposals. Now after budget approval, work on these will start. Both these units, cancer day care and DIC unit for children, will be prepared in the district hospital. For these, the CMO has identified wards and sent the report to the government.
