Prayagraj IVF Center agent's mother and brother arrested in egg theft case from a minor.
Jagran correspondent, Prayagraj. The police has increased the scope of action in the case of fraudulently making a girl adult and married and getting her eggs removed from an IVF centre. Now the agent of the IVF center has arrested Kalpana's mother Sangeeta Devi and her brother Ravi Bharatiya.
During interrogation, it was revealed that like her daughter, Sangeeta also used to take girls to IVF center to get their eggs removed and like Himanshu, Ravi also used to manipulate the Aadhaar card. Aadhar cards of about 40 girls and women have been found from his mobile, some of which are suspected to be fake. In this case, agent Kalpana, main accused Palak alias Zoya, Rinki, Seema and her son Himanshu have been sent to jail.
A woman resident of Nawabganj had filed a case alleging that her 15-year-old daughter was kidnapped, an attempt was made to convert her and she was taken to an IVF center and the eggs were removed wrongly. The police recorded the statement of the victim and investigated and the truth came out. Then Palak and other accused were arrested.
During interrogation, it was revealed that a fake Aadhaar card of the girl was prepared and she was shown as an adult and married. After this, her eggs were removed in the IVF centre. Police say that when the investigation was carried forward on the basis of analysis of mobile call details and statements of the accused, it was found that Sangeeta and her son Ravi were also involved in this.
When Kalpana used to stay in the beauty parlor, her mother used to take the girls to the IVF center. She used to give the money received from IVF on commission basis. Whereas Ravi also used to manipulate the Aadhar cards of girls.
On Tuesday, Phaphamau police arrested Sangeeta and Ravi, residents of old Phaphamau. Police Station Head Phaphamau Ashwini Kumar says that the mother and son have been arrested and sent to jail. Aadhaar cards of many girls have been found from the mobile of accused Ravi, some of which may be fake.
