Painters pelting stones at cars in Trans Yamuna.
Jagran correspondent, Agra. In recent times, the incidents of blackmailing in the Trans Yamuna area are not showing any signs of stopping. Recently, Raj Chauhan Rangbaz was murdered by firing indiscriminately during a liquor party in a hotel. The police took action after this.
Now a new incident happened in the same area on Monday evening. In which some people attacked a car with bricks and stones. Police have registered a case against seven people including six named in the case, CCTV footage of the incident has also come to light.
Rahul Singh, his brother Sachin and friend Anuj had just left the Trans Yamuna police station after submitting the copy of Aadhaar card when about 15 people stopped their car in the middle of the road and attacked them fiercely with bricks and stones. The car was completely destroyed and all three suffered serious injuries.
The victim has taken names of some people in the complaint. Which includes Manjeet Sisodia alias Bass, Sibbu Thakur, Manish Yadav, Hardev Thakur, Mohit Savita, Rudra Yadav. The police have registered a case against everyone and started investigation.
A CCTV footage of the incident has also surfaced. In the last few months, the activities of gangsters, gang wars and miscreants have continuously increased in the Trans Yamuna region. After the Raj Chauhan murder case, the police has increased strictness in the area, but still such incidents are not stopping.
ACP Chhatta Sheshmani Upadhyay said that a case has been registered on the basis of the complaint of the victim. Investigation is ongoing in the matter.
