Sports Desk, New Delhi. Sahibzada Farhan has given a big warning before the match against India in the T20 World Cup 2026. He says that he will continue the same aggressive batting which he started against India in the Asia Cup. Farhan batted brilliantly in the match played against USA in Colombo and played an important role in helping his team win.
Farhan played an inning of 73 runs against America, due to which he was chosen player of the match. Pakistan defeated USA by 32 runs and scored 190 runs while batting first in this match. Farhan had made the most important contribution in this and after receiving the award, he said that he wants to win this award two or three times in this World Cup.
Sahibzada Farhan said on getting player of the match
After helping Pakistan win the match, Farhan said, "Yesterday when we were batting in the nets, the ball was coming on the bat very well. I had told my batting coach Hanif Malik that I was feeling very good for the match. I even told the coach that I will finish the match in such a way that I get the Player of the Match award. I have set a target for myself that I have to win this award two or three times in this World Cup. The pitch was very good and the ball was coming well on the bat.
Farhan believes that he will continue the same aggressive batting in the future matches also. He spoke about the opening partnership with Saim Ayub and said that both of them wanted to use the powerplay well.
Farhan's statement regarding India
Farhan continued his point and said, "I want to bat aggressively like this." Ayub also got the start but he was unlucky that he could not score big. As an opening batsman in T20 cricket, I will continue to play like this and bat aggressively. The captain has given us the freedom to score fast runs in the powerplay. We are going to take the field with the same mentality as we did in our previous matches against India, including the Asia Cup."
