Woman went missing while going to municipality in Hapur. symbolic picture
Jagran correspondent, Hapur. On Monday, a woman from Mohalla Shivpuri of Nagar Kotwali area left home to go to the municipality to get her address corrected in the birth certificate, but went missing under suspicious circumstances on the way.
When she did not return home till late evening, her relatives searched for her extensively, but finding no clue, the husband complained to the police, fearing kidnapping.
The woman had gone for amendment of the birth certificate
In the complaint letter, Vikas Garg of Mohalla Shivpuri told that on Monday morning at around 11.30 am, his wife Akanksha Aggarwal had gone from home to the municipality to get the birth certificate amended. The relatives became worried when he did not return till evening.

After this, he searched extensively in the surrounding areas and among his relatives, but could not find any trace of the woman. According to relatives, the woman had also taken her mobile phone with her.
Location seen on Hapur bypass
On calling, the location of the mobile was found near Chotiwala Restaurant located at Hapur Bypass. Despite calling several times, the phone was not received, although it was ringing continuously. On this the husband has expressed fear of kidnapping of the woman.
CO Varun Mishra said that the police team is busy searching for the woman on the basis of mobile location. The woman's husband is also present with the police team. He said that the woman will soon be recovered safely.
