Private coach attendant arrested for stealing railway property. (Awakening)
Dialogue thread, Masharaq (Saran). Major action has been taken in the case of theft of railway property in the jurisdiction of Railway Protection Force (RPF) Post Masrakh.
During the arrival of Train No. 15113 Gomti Express at Platform No. 01 of Rajapatti Railway Station, RPF arrested a private coach attendant with stolen railway property.
During checking of B-1 coach of the train by RPF Head Constable Ramujagir, private coach attendant Nipu Kumar (19 years), son of Moti Yadav, resident of Kawalpura, Police Station Mashrak, District Saran, was caught with a blue colored pitthu bag.
11 white bedsheets stolen from the same coach were recovered from the bag, the total value of which was estimated at Rs 2214.41. Based on the complaint of the head constable, further arrest was prepared by Sub Inspector Saroj Kumar.
Whereas, another accused involved in the incident, Tuntun, son of unknown, resident of Shiuri, police station Masrakh, aged about 40 years, managed to escape from the spot.
In this regard, a case has been registered at Railway Protection Force Post Masrakh under Crime No. 04/25, Section 3 Railway Property (Illegal Occupancy) Act.
The investigation of the case has been handed over to ASI Ramesh Kerketta as per the orders of IPF/MHC. The matter has also been fed into RSMS. This action of RPF has increased the confidence among passengers regarding the security of railway property.
