On Thursday, on the occasion of New Year, the District Disaster Management has sent 16 volunteers from the State Disaster Management Response Force to Lucknow for special training to deal with natural disasters. In the 12-day training, everyone will be made warriors by teaching them special skills of disaster management. After returning from Lucknow, all the warriors will discharge their responsibilities. District Disaster Expert Omkar Chaturvedi said that the 16 volunteers include 13 young men and three girls. The State Disaster Management Response Force will teach everyone special tricks to deal with natural disasters in a 12-day special training. We will also explain how to use various resources on special occasions.
According to him, in the training, all the volunteers will be told the details in a technical and experimental manner, so that they will be able to use their training to save the lives of the needy people in times of disaster in the district. This training will run from 2 to 13 January 2026.
This includes Vineet Kumar, Tinku Nagar, Saurabh Singh Bhati, Shivam, Bharat, Ashish Kumar, Praveen, Sonu Dev, Anuj Kumar, Anshu Kumari, Kumari Priya, Ishwar Bhati, Abhishek, Jyoti, Ajay Kumar and Nitesh from Gautam Buddha Nagar. The age limit for becoming Aapda Mitra is 18 to 40 years, while the age relaxation of up to five years is given to ex-servicemen, retired medical personnel and engineers.
At present, 16 volunteers and their parents who went for training have thanked the district administration. For this, maximum cooperation was given by Deputy District Magistrate Sadar Ashutosh Gupta and Sadar Tehsildar Pratit Kumar Chauhan. Meanwhile, Jitendra Nagar Dadupur Kanungo and accountant Neerjalta were present.
