Steel pipe falls from multi-storey building in Howrah, 2 killed (symbolic picture)
Digital Desk, New Delhi. A tragic accident took place in Howrah district of West Bengal on Tuesday. Here two people died after a heavy steel pipe fell from a multi-storey building. Police gave information about this.
A police officer said that the two were passing near the Howrah Trade Center building around noon when a pipe fell on them from the 12th floor of the building.
One of them died on the spot, while the other died in the hospital, the police officer said.
The officer said, 'A case has been registered and action will be taken against those responsible for the accident.
Police said that some construction work was going on on the 12th floor of the building. At present the deceased has not been identified.
