Jagran correspondent, Rae Bareli. If you are thinking of going home or to any religious place on Holi, then do not depend on trains. Reservation in trains will not be available for the months before and after the festival. Seats in AC and sleeper coaches have been filled. Holi is on March 4.
Many devotees go to see Maa Vaishno Devi on this occasion, but if you are planning to go by trains then you will be disappointed because the seats are full. The seats in most of the trains running through the district are full from now till April 7.
There is a waiting list even in air-conditioned coaches; there is no space even in sleeper coaches. Due to this, people living in Delhi, Lodhiana, Punjab, Amritsar and many other states will have to struggle hard to come to the village.
Passenger Kamal Kumar says that he had gone to Howrah to make reservation, but out of compulsion he had to take a waiting ticket. Passengers Kamlesh Kumar, Rajkumar, Dashrath Lal, Saenu say that there is a need for the railway administration to run special trains, but till now the responsible officers are not paying attention to it.
Reservation supervisor Saroj says that train number 12173-74 Pratapgarh to Mumbai Udyognagari, 13005-6 Amritsar-Howrah Mail, 15127-28 Kashi Vishwanath running between Banaras to Delhi, 12875-56 Nilanchal Express running between Puri to Delhi, 15119-20 Janata Express running from Banaras to Haridwar, going from Pratapgarh to Delhi. Sleeper seats in train number 14207-08 Padmavati Express and 12355-56 Archana Express going from Patna to Jammutavi are running full till April 7. The waiting list for AC coaches of these trains is also ranging from 60 to 80.
