183 Income Tax officers across the country got great news on the New Year (indicative picture)
JNN, Bhopal. The Central Board of Direct Taxes has given a big gift to the Income Tax Department officials on the eve of New Year. Releasing the promotion list pending for one year, the department has promoted a total of 183 officers across the country from the post of Income Tax Officer to Assistant Commissioner of Income Tax (IRS).
According to departmental sources, Income Tax officials were eagerly waiting for this list for the last one year. In the order issued (Office Order No. 300 of 2025), the name of Rajesh Katare from Madhya Pradesh-Chhattisgarh region is included.
Rajesh Katare, originally a resident of Gwalior, is currently posted at the Income Tax Headquarters in Bhopal. He has been made Assistant Commissioner in MP & CG region itself.
