Jagran correspondent, Khagaria. The severe cold and dense fog is having a deep impact on the operation of trains. Due to dense fog, two long distance trains passing through Khagaria station have been cancelled. A dozen long and short distance trains were delayed by hours. Local people had to face a lot of trouble due to the delay in running of short distance passenger train by hours.
Train number 12505 North East Express going from Kamakhya Junction to Anand Vihar Terminal and train number 15483 Sikkim Mahananda Express going from Alipurduar to Delhi Junction have been canceled on Wednesday.
Train number 15706 Champaran Humsafar Express which runs from Delhi Junction to Katihar Junction was delayed by 11 hours 42 minutes. Train number 15566 Vaishali Express which goes from New Delhi to Lalit Gram station is reported to be running late by 10 hours 22 minutes. Train number 04078 Kamakhya Special Fare Special from New Delhi to Kamakhya was delayed by four hours 49 minutes from its scheduled time.
Train number 19483 Saharsa Express coming from Ahmedabad Junction to Saharsa ran three hours 43 minutes late from its scheduled time, while train number 22 352 Saharsa Superfast SM VT traveling from Bangalore to Saharsa ran late by three hours one minute.
Train number 63303 Katihar Samastipur MEMU train ran late by two hours 38 minutes, while 18626 Kosi Express from Hatia to Purnia Court ran late by one hour 39 minutes.
15708 Amrapali Express going from Amritsar to Katihar was reported to be running late by one hour and 19 minutes, while train number 63308 Samastipur Katihar MEMU train was reported to be running late by one hour and nine minutes. 15714 Katihar Intercity train going from Patna to Katihar was also reported to be running late by one hour on Wednesday.
