State Bureau, Lucknow. The recruitment process for 7994 vacant posts of accountant under the Revenue Council has been expedited. A total of 3,66,712 candidates have been shortlisted for the main examination on the basis of preliminary qualifying examination (PET-2025) marks.
Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission has approved the result and cutoff marks of shortlisted candidates and uploaded it on the website. According to the Commission, candidates who have scored zero or less and negative marks in PET have not been included in the shortlist.
As per the recruitment rules, 15 times the number of candidates have been selected for the main examination as per the vacancies. All the candidates scoring the same marks have been included in the cutoff.
In this, the cutoff for unreserved, scheduled caste, other backward class and economically weaker section is 55.12, for scheduled tribe is 47.50, for dependent of freedom fighters is 38.63 and in excellent sportsperson category the cutoff is 1.01.
The cutoff prepared on the basis of normalized score (average marks) of PET is available on the website of the Commission. The date of main examination will be announced separately later.
Now the candidates engaged in Lekhpal recruitment should start their preparation seriously. There will be one question paper in the written examination, in which 100 questions will be asked. You will get two hours time in the examination.
Negative marking has been kept in the examination. Apart from Indian history, polity, geography, economy, rural society, current events, science and technology, general Hindi, questions related to computers and general information related to Uttar Pradesh will be asked.
26,318 candidates successful in typing test
Lucknow: The result of typing test has been released for the recruitment of total 5370 posts of Junior Assistant, Junior Clerk and Assistant Grade-3 under various departments.
Out of the candidates selected on the basis of written examination, 26,318 candidates have been declared successful in the typing test. According to the Commission, after the written examination, typing test of 90,336 candidates was conducted.
This examination was held between 23 November and 18 December last year. The list of successful candidates has been uploaded on the website of the Commission. Candidates can check their result on the official website of Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission.
