Jagran correspondent, Unnao. A 45-year-old youth and a 14-year-old girl committed suicide by lying on the down track towards Gangaghat railway station, 100 meters before Sahjani crossing, at around quarter to nine on Monday night, after being hit by a goods train.
The incident took place near kilometer pole number 62/28 and 62/30. A white colored 'Grand I-10' car was found parked towards Devara Kala village, about 200 meters away from the spot, in which two ladies bags, a satchel and two mobile phones were kept. Police are making efforts to identify the deceased.
The route was disrupted for half an hour
Due to the incident, the Kanpur Lucknow rail route (down track) was disrupted for about half an hour. Due to which Tejas Express stood on the track for 33 minutes from 8:54 pm to 9:27 pm. At the same time, Gomti Express stood at Gangaghat railway station from 9:20 to 9:24 due to track disruption.

RPF's SI Surjit Singh, GRP's SI Lokendra Singh and Inspector Moolchandra Pathak of Division No. 3 have started investigation of the incident. The police have sent the bodies to the mortuary.
