Jagran correspondent, Rampur. Film actor and director Idris Malik, who reached the city, met Minister of State Baldev Singh Aulakh.
Late on Friday night, actor Idris went to the camp office on the highway and met Minister of State Aulakh. During this, there was a personal discussion between the two. During this time, Block Chief Kulwant Singh Aulakh, brother of the Minister of State, was also present.
The Minister of State and the actor told that there is friendship between the two since their studies in Nainital College. They are meeting each other after a long time. Earlier, actor Idris went to the house of his other friend Adil Mian, a resident of Mohalla Bhatti Tola of the city, and expressed his condolences on the demise of his mother recently.
He also visited his mother's grave and paid his respects. Actor Idris called Adil his disciple and brother. Nainital based actor Idris Malik has worked with famous actors like Rishi Kapoor, Sridevi, Naseeruddin Shah, Raj Babbar, Sunny Deol, Ompuri, Shahrukh Khan in many Bollywood films like Chandni, Vishwatma, Maya Memsaab, Oh Darling Yeh Hai India.
He trained with actor Irrfan Khan at the National School of Drama. Comedian Sanjay Mishra was his junior. Shahrukh Khan remained his friend during the days of struggle. Presently Idris runs his own theater school in Nainital. He has also made many documentary films as a director.
