Now the department has started the process of dealing with these hotels and restaurants. Now all the hotels in Jammu will be audited afresh and security standards will be checked. These hotels and restaurants are in such tight areas where it is not possible for fire department teams to reach. There are dozens of hotels in the city which have not even obtained the mandatory NOC and their business is running only on the trust of God. After this picture of the city's hotel industry was exposed, the Tourism Department of Jammu has come into action.
Let us tell you that after examining all the NOCs, the department issues the licenses of the hotels. According to departmental sources, it has now been decided to conduct a fresh audit of all the hotels of Jammu. For this, a team has been formed, which will review the safety standards and it will be checked whether everyone has NOC from the fire department or not. There are preparations to take action against the violators also.
