Jagran Correspondent, Dehradun: A case has been registered in Vasant Vihar police station to reveal the name of VIP in Ankita murder case. It is believed that after investigating the related complaint given to the Director General of Police, Uttarakhand, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has recommended a CBI investigation.
Dr Anil Prakash Joshi Environmentalist Padmabhushan, in his complaint to the Director General of Police, said that in the ongoing discussions, some unidentified persons, who are being referred to as VIPs, are being accused of being involved in an independent crime in the Ankita Bhandari murder case.
Although the criminals involved in the Ankita Bhandari murder case have been punished. It is being said in the internet media that some evidence has been hidden or destroyed in the case. In such a situation, an independent investigation into this crime involving an unknown person being called a VIP is necessary to ensure complete justice.
He said that this entire episode is related to the said unknown VIP. Therefore, there is a need for a separate and independent impartial investigation to uncover the facts of the case. Therefore, it is necessary to get this matter investigated by an impartial investigating agency.
In this case, the investigation was handed over to SSP Dehradun Ajay Singh on behalf of the Director General of Police. While issuing instructions to Police Station Head Vasant Vihar to register a case, he wrote a letter to the Home Department and recommended a CBI investigation. On the basis of this, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami recommended getting the case investigated by CBI. It is being told that on the basis of this FIR, CBI will start its investigation.
