Bareilly's Voter List Cleared: More Than 7 Lakh Names Out In One Go, Check Your Status

Jagran correspondent, Bareilly. The Special Intensive Revision (SIR) campaign of the voter list was completed on Friday. Under this process, which started from November 4, till 4 pm on December 26, the counting forms of 26, 89, 684 voters out of total 34,05,064 voters have been filled and digitized.

Which is 78.97 in relation to total voters. According to this, 21.03 percent 7,16,156 voters will not be included in the voter list to be published on December 31. During the process of SIR, 1,15,182 voters were found who have died. Their names will now be removed from the new voter list.

After the start of the SIR process, officers and employees of all departments including city, tehsil and block level officers and employees including teachers and Shikshamitras were involved in it. If we talk about assembly wise SIR, out of 3,75,118 voters in Bahedi, 84.23 percent voters could be digitized for 3,15,973 voters.

15.77 percent i.e. 56,149 voters will be excluded from the list. In Mirganj, out of 3,51,470 voters, 86.47 percent only 3,03,909 voters were found, 13.53 percent names of 47,562 voters could not be included. In Bhojipura, 3,95,649 voters were included in the SIR.

Out of these, only 83.54 percent 3,30,544 voters could be digitized, 16.46 percent 65,107 voters will be excluded from the list. In Nawabganj, out of 3,46,729 voters, 85.90 percent 2,97,852 voters could be matched, 14.10 percent 48,879 voters will be removed from the list.

Faridpur: Out of 3,44,698 voters, 79.84 percent 2,75,204 voters could be digitized, 20.16 percent 69,495 voters will be excluded from the list. Talking about Bithri Chainpur, 4,15,979 voters were included in the SIR, out of which only 81.33 percent 3,38,331 voters could be matched, 18.67 percent 77,651 voters could not be matched.

With this they will now be removed from the list. In Bareilly Sadar, out of 4,68,714 voters, only 64.67 percent 3,03,116 could be digitized, 35.33 percent 1,65,602 voters will be removed from the list. In Bareilly Cantt, out of 3,82,903 voters, only 64.80 percent 2,48,1125 could be matched while 35.20 percent 1,34,779 voters would be excluded from the list.

Similarly, in Amla assembly constituency, 3,24,560 voters were included in the SIR, out of which 85.23 percent 2,76,630 voters could be digitized, 14.77 percent 47,932 voters will be excluded from the list. Now the provisional list will be published on 31st December. Claims can be made from 31 December to 21 February. The investigation will be conducted on 25th February. The final publication will take place on 28th February.

1.65 lakh voters will be reduced from Sadar to 1.34 lakh voters from Cantt.

In SIR, names of thousands of voters are being removed from the list in every assembly constituency, but maximum of 1.65 lakh voters from Bareilly Sadar assembly constituency and 1.34 lakh voters from Cantt assembly constituency will be removed from the list.
