Jagran Correspondent, Bareilly: The weather patterns in the district are changing rapidly. These days, there is a blanket of dense fog from late night till noon, vehicles have to crawl due to zero visibility, this is also affecting life. However, people are getting relief due to increase in day temperature due to bright sunshine late in the afternoon. As the evening approaches, the fog turns into small drops and starts falling on the ground. The Meteorological Department has predicted the density of fog to reduce from Monday and the possibility of rain after January 22.
The maximum temperature was recorded at 20.2 degrees and minimum at 4.5 degrees Celsius.
According to the data received from the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature was recorded at 20.2 degrees and the minimum at 4.5 degrees Celsius on Sunday. Whereas, AQI of Civil Lines was 106 and Rajendra Nagar was 149. The city remained shrouded in a white blanket of fog since morning, with visibility being zero near the Air Force and 20 meters at other places. Due to excessive fog there were problems in traffic. The vehicles followed each other with fog lights on and reached the destination.
Take special care in dense fog
Use fog lights while driving. Stay in touch with airlines, railways and state transport. When driving in dense fog, follow road signs for safe transportation. Avoid going out unless necessary, keep face covered.
Dense fog expected to gradually reduce from Monday morning, will provide relief
According to Atul Kumar Singh, in-charge of the Regional Weather Forecasting Centre, there is a possibility of a gradual increase in temperature by two to four degrees Celsius during the next 24 to 48 hours. At the same time, the dense fog is expected to gradually reduce from Monday morning and end after January 20. Due to the effect of active western disturbance, rainy season is expected to start in Western Uttar Pradesh from January 22.
