In view of the violent dispute and tense atmosphere that took place in the Kashi Hindu University (BHU) campus recently, the university administration is now in a desperate mood. Taking a strict stand against the elements who disturb the peace of the campus, the administration has identified the culprits and indicated that strict disciplinary action will be taken against them. The security arrangements have been put on alert at the place where the riot took place.
According to the university administration, a special high-level inquiry committee will be formed to thoroughly investigate the dispute between Birla and Ruia hostel. On the basis of CCTV footage, statements of eyewitnesses and available evidence, this committee will identify those students who played a key role in spoiling the atmosphere.
The administration has clarified that students found guilty in the investigation may be expelled or suspended. To reduce the tension prevailing among the students and to connect them with mainstream studies, the Proctoral Board has started a special campaign. On Saturday, the team of Chief Proctor and his supporting officers reached Birla 'C', Birla 'A' and Ruia hostels.

The officials went to the rooms and talked to the students and listened to their problems. Students were given strict instructions not to indulge in any kind of anti-university activity or factionalism. Your main objective is to get education because indiscipline is fatal for both your future and the image of the university.
To prevent recurrence of such incidents in future, security cordon has been increased around sensitive hostels. Proctorial Board security personnel are increasing patrolling at night. The administration has appealed to the students not to pay heed to any rumors and cooperate in improving the campus environment.
