Game Of Making Fake Birth Certificates Busted In Aligarh, Two Accused Arrested

Jagran correspondent, Aligarh. The Municipal Corporation on Saturday exposed the big game of issuing fake birth-death certificates. This has been exposed in the investigation conducted after the complaint of a victim. With the help of the Municipal Corporation, the police detained two youths from Jamalpur area in this case. Now detailed investigation is being conducted in the matter. Investigation is also being done on other points.

After the complaint, the Municipal Corporation team investigated and exposed the fraud.

Municipal Commissioner Prem Prakash Meena was holding a public hearing at Seva Bhavan like every day on Saturday. During this time a person showed two birth certificates. It was told that these birth certificates have been issued in the names of Ismail Nadeem and Kainat Nadeem. The Municipal Commissioner primarily found these suspects. On this he immediately instructed Zonal Officer and Assistant Municipal Commissioner Veer Singh to investigate. During the investigation, the records were matched on the official portal. In this, both the certificates were found to be completely fake.

Documents were prepared for around Rs 1600

The Municipal Commissioner said that for getting these certificates made from the complainant, the documents were prepared through private means by taking an amount of about Rs 1600. Further investigation revealed that this fraud was done through Jan Seva Kendra. As soon as the information was received, the Municipal Corporation enforcement team, with the help of local police, took action in Jamalpur police post area and took both the suspects into custody.

The accused were interrogated till late night

In this case, a complaint has been filed by the birth-death certificate clerk against both the accused in Civil Lines police station. The interrogation of the accused continued till late night. Now the Municipal Corporation officials are also investigating the role of other people and possible gangs related to this case.

The Municipal Commissioner said that any kind of fraud in important government documents like birth and death certificates will not be tolerated. Strict legal action will be taken against the culprits. He appealed to the citizens to get the certificates made only through authorized means and not to fall prey to any unauthorized agent.

Cases have come to light in the past too

This is not the only case of fake birth-death certificate. Such cases have come to light in the municipal corporation area before also. A case has also been filed by the Municipal Corporation in this matter. Apart from this, a big fraud has also been exposed among the elderly people of the district. A large number of fake certificates were made in the name of a Panchayat.
