Victim Nashima Khatoon told that at around 11 pm on Saturday night suddenly smoke, flames and burning smell was felt from the house. After raising the alarm, the fire was controlled with the help of the villagers, due to which a major accident was averted.
House set on fire due to old rivalry
According to the victim, some people from the same village were seen nearby at the time of the incident, who were abusing her. Told that three days ago also the accused had abused and threatened him for raising the old case.
His house was set on fire on Saturday night due to the same rivalry. In this regard, the victim has filed an application in the police station naming three people of the village.
Case pending in court regarding land dispute
According to the victim, Himayu Mian alias Alamgir Mian, Babar Mian and Ashiq Mian of the village are involved in this incident. As soon as information about the incident was received, Garhi police station took immediate action and took one accused into custody at around 12 o'clock in the night.
The police station chief said that the matter is already pending in the court regarding the land dispute between the two parties. Advertisements have already been pasted at Babar Mian's house on the orders of the court. The entire matter is being thoroughly investigated. In the preliminary investigation, some allegations appear to be baseless, although all aspects are being investigated closely.
