The ACB, which is investigating against suspended IAS Vinay Kumar Choubey, his relatives and associates in the case of amassing disproportionate assets, on Tuesday raided six showrooms belonging to Tata Motors and Mahindra controlled by Snigdha Singh. This raid took place in showrooms located in Ranchi, Dhanbad, Koderma and Deoghar.

ACB officials have examined documents related to financial transactions, income tax returns etc. in all these showrooms. A large number of digital devices, documents etc. have been recovered from the spot. Snigdha Singh is the wife of Vinay Singh, an associate of IAS Vinay Kumar Choubey. Snigdha Singh is still absconding in this case, in search of whom ACB has already raided many places in Bihar and Delhi.

ACB has received information that IAS Vinay Kumar Choubey made black money worth crores of rupees by misusing his position. He invested this black money through his special associate automobile businessman Vinay Singh and his wife Snigdha Singh. Vinay Chaubey's black money worth crores of rupees has been invested in the showroom of Tata Motors controlled by Snigdha Singh.

ACB is investigating this. ACB has also interrogated Vinay Chaubey and Vinay Singh for a long time regarding the said black money, but after not getting satisfactory answers from them, ACB has conducted raids. Magistrates and independent witnesses were present during the raid.

ACB has interrogated automobile businessman Vinay Singh for a long time on remand for the fourth day in connection with the case of acquiring disproportionate assets. Most of the questions of ACB were based on the investment of black money of Vinay Kumar Choubey. ACB raised questions on Vinay Singh's huge cash payment for movable and immovable properties, but Vinay Singh has not given a satisfactory answer. Even during the Covid period, Vinay Singh had purchased movable and immovable property on a large scale.
