Sanjay Saraogi becomes Bihar BJP President
Digital Desk, Patna. Bihar BJP has got a new president. The central leadership has handed over the command of Bihar BJP to Sanjay Saraogi. Sanjay Saraogi is MLA from Darbhanga urban seat.
Let us tell you that Saraogi, born on 28 August 1969, was associated with the All India Student Council since his student life. He took membership of BJP in 1995. After this he got accountability in Yuva Morcha.
Got ticket from BJP in 2005
Let us tell you that Sanjay Saraogi had contested the election for the first time from Ward 6 of Darbhanga Municipal Corporation and he had won the election. After this, his stature gradually increased in the party.
The party fielded him from Darbhanga Urban seat in the March 2005 assembly elections. Sanjay Saraogi won in his very first assembly election.
The special thing is that from then till now he is the MLA from Darbhanga Nagar. Sanjay Saraogi won consecutively in November 2010, 2015, 2020 and 2025. In the 2025 assembly elections, Sanjay Saraogi defeated Umesh Sahni by a huge margin.
