Samvad Sutra, Suryagarha (Lakhisarai). On Friday, near Gokul Nandan Complex located in Suryagarha market, supporters under the leadership of former Suryagarha Assembly candidate Ravi Shankar Prasad Singh alias Ashok Singh gave a grand welcome to former Union Minister cum former JDU national president Ramchandra Prasad Singh (RCP Singh).
RCP Singh, who came from Patna to participate in a religious ritual organized in Manikpur, was greeted with flowers and garlands by his supporters. During this, he paid tribute to the statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel installed at Patel Chowk by garlanding it.
RCP's reaction on Lalan's statement
Journalists asked him for his reaction on the statement of Union Minister Rajeev Ranjan Singh alias Lalan Singh, in which he had said - I do not know who this RCP Singh is.
On this RCP Singh replied smilingly, Lalan Babu was, is and will remain our old friend. Where is the point of recognition? We have an old relationship. In politics, ideas and work are bigger than individuals. The people of Bihar know very well what and who I am.
On discussions about a possible comeback in JDU, he said in a philosophical tone, there is politics in every sphere of life - even at home and with God, but the aim of politics should be everyone's welfare and brotherhood. Politics is a field of possibilities, but my first religion is service to the public.
He further said- Wherever I live, whatever role I play, my priority is the development of Bihar and reaching the last person. Rest of the decisions are decided by time and circumstances.
