Jagran correspondent, Agra. The body of a girl who went missing while preparing for her cousin's wedding at home was recovered from the Yamuna river on Thursday night, three days later. The relatives have accused the girl of raping and murdering her and then throwing her body in the Yamuna.
The brother's argument behind the allegations is that the mobile phone was found in a field near the house. Whereas the girl's shawl, slippers and house keys were found near the railing of the expressway. It is clear that this is not an accident. Police are investigating the reasons behind the sudden disappearance and death of the girl. In the post-mortem report, the police said that death was due to drowning.

A cousin sister was getting married on the night of 10 February in a village in Etmadpur. Meanwhile, the girl, who had left the house at 10 pm after asking her sister-in-law to go to the toilet, had mysteriously gone missing. She was a class nine student in the area school. When the girl was not found even after a lot of search, the father lodged a missing complaint at Etmadpur police station on 11 February. The student had left the house with her elder sister's mobile phone. Relatives were calling continuously. On the night of the incident, a person from the village found the phone lying in the field.

The villager received the call and informed that the phone was lying in the field. The next morning, the student's slippers were found lying on the road, while the shawl was hanging on the railing of the inner ring roll. The key of the house was lying nearby. On Thursday night at 12 o'clock, Doki police recovered the body of a teenage girl near Tanaura Ghat on the information of villagers, who was identified as the missing teenager.
The body was found about 11 kilometers away from the girl's village. The police are saying that the dead body will be washed away. The father and brother have accused them of kidnapping, raping and throwing the body in Yamuna after murder. However, the police is considering it as an accident.
ACP inspected the incident site
ACP Saiya Sukanya Sharma along with the police team inspected the spot and also interrogated the relatives. ACP said that in the post mortem report the cause of death was due to drowning in water. No injury marks were found on the body either. Every aspect is being investigated.
