Along with the birthplace of Lord Ghanshyam Maharaj in Chhapia, there is the Pandava period Prithvinath temple in Khargupur.
A year ago, on World Wetland Day, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had announced to develop Parvati-Araga Bird Sanctuary as eco-tourism and Tikri forest as open safari. These proposals are pending with the Central Government. If the places are developed, there will be employment opportunities along with tourism development.
74 thousand women will become millionaires
This year, a target has been set to make 74 thousand women in the district millionaires by connecting them with self-employment. The construction of the hostel will provide facilities as well as security to the women. Youth will get self-employment opportunities along with training in MSME sector.
PM Swanidhi Yojana will help street vendors to increase their business. The use of AI in farming will boost innovation. The creation of municipal bonds will give impetus to development in the city.
