A budget of Rs 4.25 crore has been released from the government level for carrying out development work under the 15th Finance Commission. Which the municipality will spend in the construction and improvement of drinking water, sanitation, solid waste management, roads and other infrastructure in the city. The municipality has started preparing proposals. The tender process will be conducted soon.
For the development of Municipal Council area, a budget of Rs 4.25 crore has been released from the government level under the 15th Finance. The municipality has started preparations for development in the city with the budget received under Untied and Tied Fund Grant.
Soon the incomplete development works will be completed rapidly in the city, the outline of which is being prepared. Due to lack of budget, development works were half completed. Due to which people were facing a lot of trouble. Now the construction of roads, drains and drains will be done rapidly. Many roads in the city are in bad condition and require reconstruction.
To overcome the problem of waterlogging, drains and drains will also be built. Many roads get submerged during the rainy season. Beautification work will also be done in the city. Work will be done to provide drinking water and to install lights etc. on roads.
Due to lack of budget, development works were not gaining momentum. Now, as soon as the budget is received, the municipal administration has prepared an action plan. The tender process will be started soon. It is claimed that within 15 days the proposal will be prepared and further action will be started. After this the development works will start.
Decorated poles and lights will be installed
The municipality is preparing to install decorated lights like Shakti Nagar on the major roads of the city. For this, routes like Station Road, Fawwara Chowk, Sita Road, Rambagh etc. of the city have been identified.
There was a shortage of budget for a long time, due to which the development work was affected. Now that the budget is available, the incomplete work will be completed. Proposals are being prepared. The tender process will be conducted soon. After this the development work will start.
